Let us ask ye a rhetorical question (or three):

  1. Do ye fancy yerself a Pyrate Wench?
  2. Do ye like shiny/sparkly things?
  3. Can ye carry yerself like a Queen?

Grand. Now that we have that out o’ the way, welcome to the first ever…

Louisiana Pyrate Wench Pageant!

A chance for ye to to hold the Title and be host to entertainment, fundraising, awareness and representing both Pyrates and the causes they care for – not to mention the silken sash and a spectacular one-of-a-kind Pyratical crown covered in Swarovski® Crystals (valued at $1500)!

Our plan is to build this into a National Pageant, culminating in a grand finale here in New Orleans to crown the Queen o’ The Pyrate Wenches – all the time raising funds & awareness for our causes (like wetlands preservation & restoration)!

The Pageant is open to any Pyrate Wench o’ at least 21 years – the fee to enter is $45 (split between our causes & operating costs). Attendance for non-competitors is free!

Ye must supply yer own Pyratical/Wench outfit (if yer lacking, contact our mate Wingate at Southern Costume Company and mention we sent ye!).

Skill testing questions may be involved (think Pyrates, New Orleans, Louisiana, the Bayou/Wetlands, History). Ye’ll be judged on knowledge, attitude, proper dress & deportment.

In order to participate, ye must read and agree to “The Articles”, file an application, submit yer fee* – and be prepared to present yerself to the judges! Please contact us with any questions!
