Who better to ask about Pyrate History than, well…actual historical Pyrates?
For many a year we journied to the Barataria Bayou and the town named for Louisiana’s best known Pyrate Privateer – Jean Lafitte! In conjunction with Town & School officials, we share our knowledge o’ Pyrate history, The Battle o’ New Orleans and how The Baratarians helped win the battle and affected trade in Louisiana.
In the town of Jean Lafitte, we gratefully acknowledge the assistance o’ Mayor Tim Kerner, the Staff at Fisher Middle High and especially Lara Arceneaux who helped pull this all together and started the cannonball rolling!
