Merchants

We have a unique opportunity for Merchants this season – the Dutch Alley Invasion (Sat. Mar. 27, Sun. Mar. 28, 2010) organized by the experienced crew at Noomoon/Land Of Nod Experiment. Probably the busiest section of the French Market, located between the largest parking lot in the French Quarter and Decatur/N. Peters St.

This will run from Noon to 9pm each day – allowing for optimal traffic and still giving ye time to enjoy the city!

Add to the location Pyrates, live music/entertainment on two stages, art and more – surrounded by many popular spots for food, drink and more…and of course we’re just downstairs from one of our favourite radio stations, WWOZ FM.

This will be the start of our WGL initiative – save the Wetlands, save the Gators, save Louisiana!

Spaces are limited and preference will be awarded those who create their own goods. All Merchants will be judged according to their suitability to a Pyrate event, quality of merchandise and falling within the parameters of the French Market Association’s guidelines. Every Merchant will be required to provide accurate description of their goods along with photos (links to photos may be acceptable). Any items not pre-approved may be asked to be removed.

Cost for the two days is $125 US inclusive. If yer approved, a link to the secure payment page will be sent to ye (major credit cards, some debit cards, PayPal) – yer receipt will be emailed shortly after yer payment clears.

Ye should bring yer own tent/pop-up and will be required to pack up yer goods at the end of each day (though I believe the tent can stay).
