Once More Into The Breach

It’s been a busy week; from joining the folks at Fisher Middle School (in Barataria) for their ‘Spring Fling’, to volunteering with the hard working and highly entertaining folks at ARC of Greater New Orleans (recycling Mardi Gras beads)! In between we’ve met new mates, sampled fine Rum and journeyed to the edge o’ the map!

Join the crew tonight (Fri. 6 April) at 9pm at Pirates Alley Café & Olde Absinthe House for a few libations and a tale or two. Our hosts Thais & Tony always take good care o’ us.

Tomorrow (Sat. 7 April), we sail across the Mississippi to Algiers Point for Family Pyrate Day (11am – 5pm) – live music, artisans, authors, food and the largest neighborhood Porch Sale anywhere!

The year is 2023. Who (besides The Jetsons) would’ve imagined we’d ever write such a futuristic statement? Indeed, here we are well into the 21st century – and many things haven’t changed for the better since the 17th century.
