Spreading The Word

We’ve often mentioned that managing a gathering o’ this sort is rarely a simple task – and a large part o’ that task is getting the word out. To that end, we have the kind assistance o’ various news & information outlets across the Internet and occasionally in Print, Radio & TV.

Recently we were contacted by the well traveled Mr. Paul Joseph of TRAVELMAG.com. It seems for some time, Mr. Joseph has scoured the continent for the best events – and has listed NOLA Pyrate Week as one o’ the best in Louisiana for! Not for the first time, either! After a brief parley and a few updates to previous information they had posted, Paul had us up on the list again in no time!

We are honoured and humbled by this designation – our gathering o’ Pyrates, Privateers and their mates from around the world may not be the largest event in the State, but we certainly do our very best to pass a good time with our mates (old & new) while promoting local history & culture – and volunteering in a few charitable deeds as we’re able.

While TRAVELMAG.com is not the only publication helping promote us, we’re pleased that they’ve listed us as they have and hope we continue to live up to their “best of” designation!
