Successful Invasion…

The invasion of Dutch Alley was a great success – our loud thanks to Dan, Andrea and Noomoon Tribe for producing this event and working with a bunch o’ Pyrates in addition!  Thanks to Paul Webb of Bywater Music for the P.A. and the French Market Association for the use o’ their space – and all the merchant shops and restaurants in and around the alley for their support!

Our fearless compatriot, Miz Mardi Claw was in several places at once – showing her fabulous art, selling raffle tickets to support the parades and working at three other things!

A phenomenal showing of local and visiting talent was on hand- a wealth of musicians of varying styles, artisans in all media, fashion designers and purveyors of Pyratical pulchritude…even our Pyrate King, Alex McMurray, performed with the Happy Talk Band (and will be joining us Friday at the Hi Ho Lounge to support Goodchildren’s annual fundraisier).

We had great crowds and many new alliances were formed…be sure to check the schedule and join us for some of the remaining events this week!
