Walking – No Planks

First, more news for Family Pyrate Day  Food & Other Goodies: Kona Ice, Cocoa & Cream Catering, Confetti Kids will be serving Red Beans & Rice, Hotdogs, baked treats & Kid friendly drinks! Be sure to explore the neighborhood and definitely visit our mates up the block at the historic Cita Dennis Hubbell Library (725 Pelican Avenue)…word has it, they’re hosting a special Treasure Hunt for the younger shipmates!

Sunday (26 Mar.) – we gather at Croissant d’Or Patisserie at 10:30am for a delicious European style Brunch; French Pastries, Quiches, Cakes, Sandwiches, Soup du Jour, Coffee, Cappucino, Café au Lait…

Sunday afternoon, 1:00pm – 3:00pm, our mate (and many generation New Orleans resident) George “Loki” Williams IV will take us on a Walking Tour o’ the Garden District & Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (one o’ the oldest & largest in the city). A short trip from the French Quarter, but well worth it.

Cost is $20/pp (saving ye $5 because we know people, who know people) ONLY if ye let us know by Saturday afternoon if yer joining us (so we can warn them o’ crew size). If ye happen to call (504-975-4386) and pre-book, mention “LOKI’S PYRATES” for the discount (regular $24.99).

Meet at 2209 Magazine Street, corner of Jackson. Arrive a bit early and grab a bite, a drink, or something for later at either the famous Stein’s Deli or the (becoming famous) District Donuts, Sliders & Brew.
