NOLA Pyrate Week Gets WIRED

WIRED MAR 2012 excerpt

Avast mates – it seems we are truly “Pyrates O’ The New World” now, many thanks to the crew o’ WIRED Magazine for their unsolicited recognition o’ NOLA Pyrate Week and our mission!

The March 2012 issue o’ WIRED has a huge section o’ Pyrate themed articles: from Outlaw Radio (featuring a suspicious likeness to our mates The Py-Rats o’ No Quarter Given) to a Psychological Profile o’ Capt. Hook! – and five “tracks” on their Pyrate Playlist…rounding out the list on page 68 (featuring a footer o’ famous Pyrate Flags) is NOLA Pyrate Week!

We’re honoured to be recognized by such a prolifically respected publication as WIRED (and more ‘n a few of us read it too)…and to have such sharp eyed (and fine looking) mates as Capt. Machete Betty – aka Shayna Vest o’ DressLikeAPirate.com – who was the first to spot this item!
